[Secmat]

I am looking to replace the barrel in my stainless Springfield 1911. It's just a teacher/demonstrator/beater, so I'm not looking for a "match" barrel. I've seen the Fed Arms units for $90, and all the others seem to be about $150 for a "drop-in" type. I usually leave this sort of thing to my 'smith, but he's not available, and the original barrel fell into a septic tank(don't ask). Any suggestions would be appreciated...
