This post probably doesn't belong under this topic, but I figured I'd get a response quicker here since so many post here. I go to both pistlsmith.com and 1911forum.com pretty much everyday and have done so for at least the last 4 or 5 months. Yesterday I tried to get on 1911 forum and got this:

Apache/1.3.20 Server at http://www.1911forum.com Port 80

It's the first time that's ever happened. What does that mean? How can I get back on over there? Any asistance would be greatly appreciated.

I just tried to go over there just now. I got the same thing. Well at least you know it’s not you.

Yeah, I thought I might have stepped on the wrong toes and got banned.... glad to know I didn't.

This was indeed a server problem, and not a user problem. It has (obviously) been cleared now.

I'm not entirely convinced that this wasn't a by-product of the Nimda virus epidemic, as I ran into several similar problems elsewhere on the web today. All is well that ends well -- but I'd be updating my virus scanners, boys!

Looks like Shane kicked us all off again!
Seriously, the 1911 Forum appears to have suffered another temporary breakdown.

Yes ... this is a "new" problem, and not related to the problems we had in September. If I were a betting man, I'd lay odds on the fact that last weekend's W32/Badtrans.B virus may have contributed somehow. We'll have to wait and see.
