As you may know, Armscor has brought out a new 1911 round (the 22 TCM) and they also build pistols and load ammo for the 10mm.

Would anyone be interested in trying to get them to load some 9x23, maybe with some hearier bullets? I was going to try and contact them and offer to buy the first 10K, anybody else interested?

Then we can try to get them to build some guns. This is too good of a caliber to let it die.

Doesn't the 9X23 have an dedicated following?

If I understand correctly, you want to take a low cost (though not cheap) pistol and have it chambered in a round that is scarce on the shelves (even when there is not an ammo shortage)?

The Bubba in me would shy away "Cuz I can't get the ammo or reloading components", while the competitor in me would shy away from the Armscor pistol.

While it may not be for me, there may be people who have interest. But I would not want to be stuck with 10K of pistols I could not sell.

Not 10K of pistols, 10K rounds of ammo. Does the 9x23 have a.dedicated following?

That is a good question, but for me the founder of this site turned me on to the round many years ago and I have since converted all five of my 1911 to 9x23.

A TCM double stack, a very old AMT, a Dan Wesson Guardian, a series 80 SS Colt 38 Super and even a second barrel for my DW RZ 10.

So there is at least one 9x23 fanatic - me!
