I've got a kimber with the ambi safety on it.
Sometimes when I hit the port side lever it doesn't pushing the other side down far enough to let the gun cycle, although it will fire. any idea how to fix it?

The easiest and probably the most certain way is to replace it with a Kings. Bending the ends of the mortise and tenon inside the frame are only temporary fixes and the first time you apply pressure or "ride the safety" while firing, the condition will return. It is caused by a soft joint.
