More curiosity at the moment than anything else, but what is the procedure for getting an ammunition manufacturer's license? How much is it? What sort of insurance is considered standard?

I applied for my ammunition manufactures license when I applied for my FFL, the license cost me $30.00 and it is valid for three years.

I have not sold any of the ammunition that I have manufactured yet, however I know that you must pay Federal Excise Tax on the ammunition that you manufacture, not the ammo that you reload for other people.

I was considering getting an ammo mfg's license and an FFL all at one time just as yourself, in order to have them both done all at once, even though I do not currently have plans for selling my own ammunition.
