I saw a used Kimber today with the C&S SFS installed. You know, the hammer mechanism that lets you push up the hammer and when you take the thumb safety off the hammer cocks.

The price was right and I may buy it, but before I do,any opinions?

Oh and I posted this hoping that I'd get a quick response Mike and Steve. If you feel that you need to move it please do so.

Thanks

Pete

I have one on teh Hi-Power I'm selling.
It's a decent system, but mainly geared towards those not comfortable with the appearance of the cocked hammer. The spring is still under cocked-pressure when forward, so it doesn't save that.
The only real problem with me is that I'm used to pushing the safety up when I load the gun, so it's something different.

I thought long and hard about having my BHP converted to the C&S system. I talked twice to them, and finally decided it was an overly complicated and unnatural solution to a non existant problem.
