I would like some feedback on the .22cal Smith & Wesson model 41. How good does this rimfire semi-auto shoot? what kind of ammo does it like? If anybody ownes one please, please give me some input on this Model.

The Smith 41 shoots very well. I like to use CCI Standard Velocity in mine; it seems to be the best compromise of accuracy, reliability and cost.

To get the 41 to cycle with some of the lower-powered target ammo you'll have to replace the recoil spring.

My 41 shoots just about anything pretty good but does prefer high velocity ammo for reliability.
This gun is wasted on me. I had wanted a good target grade .22 for years and finally pick one up new. It is far more accurate than I am able to shoot it. I use it as a plinker as I am not a target shooter.

I've had mine for years. Mine came with the long barrel (I believe 7 or 7.5). Recently picked up a Clark barrel setup for scope mount only. It definitely has allowed me to see my full potential with the gun. Hope to purchased the other Clark barrel with the Bomar sights down the road. I shoot CCI Standard velocity in mine.

I am planning on sendin the gun to Clark with their package deal.
