I bought a S&W 4567 about 2 months ago and contacted Lew Hortons about some info on it, they said only 2,500 where made and only 200 of them where 2 tone dealer demo's.

Anyone have some Info on why such a small run on the total Production ? does anyone own one ? mine is great and one of the most accurate guns I own.

These were made when Smith & Wesson was introducing new auto variants almost weekly. I suppose that they were testing the market to see what would be popular, and were also exploiting the fact that we love "limited editions" of anything. I am partial to rare variants myself, but not the biggest fan of S&W autos. I am however a collector of their revolvers, and enjoy the rarities in that category.
