they can be amazingly accurate if you do. Get the silencerco extended, threaded barrel, and mount a serrated, ramped sight on the thread protector. I hardened both male and female threads, and put the protector on with loctite. There's no reason to remove it.

I re-bent the trigger to eliminate all the overtravel that I could and still keep the DA function. I added a steel "cap" to the top rear of the slide, so that I could mount a real dovetailed sight. i added metal to the side of the slide, so that I could fit an extractor, and ran a pin thru the frame and barrel lug, removing the pop-up feature of the slide. When you have an extractor, you can no longer have the pop up feature. Fit the pinkie extension mag from the Taurus PT22, and you end up with a gun that's 4.5x 5.5", 11 ozs, and it will group 2" at 25 yds from the benchrest. It will hit a 10" disk, Isoscoles, no rest, more often than it will miss, at 75 yds. Which will win a lot of $5 bets before your buddies all figure out that it's not just luck. :) The pocket size and weight make it the perfect trail gun, cause you can pair with a good pocket 9mm and have the best of both worlds, and weigh only 26 ozs for the pair.
