Brown's bobtail looks nice, but how does it feel? Anyone not like it?

Well, let me rephrase that: It looks nice from the perspective that it may be more comfortable to carry.

Let me ask that then: Is it really more comfortable to carry? Does the point of a normal full-size grip jab you in the ribs or other parts of your body?

I had one but didn't keep it.
The Bobtail reduces the corner of the butt that tends to poke out your jacket. It also seats well in the hand and reduces felt recoil. My fault with it was that it made the gun point low. OK with practice if it were my main gun, but it wasn't and I didn't want to remodel my other 1911s.

I just had a Baer Concept VII converted. I love it. My hands are med. size and the gun shoots no diff. than any other I own.
Conceals better...as well as my officer size or better.
