Just shooting it, it seems hotter, however that is purely speculation. The only way to tell would chronograph the loads.

The white box is the soft point load and they are not as hot as the Silvertips. The Power Ball and the Silvertip should be compared in my thinking.

Chronographed some loads last year.

Corbon Power Ball 9x23 , 100 gr.
1656 fps. ( Ed Brown 5 inch barrel ).
1481 fps. ( Glock 20 4.6 inch Bar-Sto barrel).
1428 fps. ( Glock 29 3.78 inch Bar-Sto barrel ).

Winchester white box 124 gr. jsp.
1475 fps. ( 5 inch ) .
1449 fps. ( Glock 20 ).
1369 fps. ( glock 29 ).

Winchester 125 silver tip hp.
1420 fps. ( 5 inch ).
1388 fps. ( Glock 20 ).
1310 fps. ( Glock 29 ).

Just looked at the real numbers and I am surprised the white box is faster than the Silvertips. I have shot both a fair bit and the soft-point seems milder. If I would not have seen your results I would have said the softy was 1250/1300 fps and the Silvertip 1500!

I am going to shoot a penny match tonight and I will take some White Box and Silvertips to see the difference. Ain't it fun :wink:
