First, let me apologize to those that sent me private messages and thought I was ignoring them. I don't use AOL's AIM program (or AOL for that matter), so this whole private message thing is new to me. Is there some sort of alert or icon that lets you know you have a message? Am I supposed to remember to check this thing regularly, or risk offending people? :???:

OK, I can now answer my own question. You have to leave your cookies feature enabled in your browser in order for the private messaging to work. That sucks for me, as I hate push technology and always run my browser with cookies disabled.

I just tried it and it works but I'm not sure how you know you have any except to check it every so often. I have my cookies set to allow only cookies that are sent to the originating server, in netscape 4.7. Is there a way to know if you have messages that you have found yet oris that what the cookies need to be full on for?

Eugene,

When you receive a message, it will light up right under the Private Message link in the upper right section of the screen. I sent you a test message just now.

Works great. I like it.
