The guns were first "discovered" about a year ago by Dutch authorities, upon service of a search warrant.
An ABC News affiliate ran stills about 6 months ago.
Word is there have been two more "caches" found elsewhere in Europe in the ensuing months.
Believed to be coming out of the former Yugoslavia, the quality of these devices is said to be really impressive.
The first still photos out of Amsterdam had text attached stating that the display screen would actually light up and a tone 'sound' when the on/off switch is activated -- s'posedly (and now, of course, *previously*) the extent of airport security checks . . .
If there are any in the U.S. (any of the alphabet agency's prototypes for intel, etc.) *nobody's* admitting it. :wink:
Probably just a matter of time though and police in Germany are expressing "grave concern" about changes in their "rules of engagement", etc.
