I was wondering if any of you gentlemen can give me an accurate blue book value for a Colt 1911 gold cup national match pistol.A friend of mine happens to have one in box that was left to him by his old man.The gun is around twelve yrs old, blued finish. Thanks,

Bad idea too give prices on things you can`t see. Is it a 70 or 80 series gun ? If you go to;

You can see some real asking prices there, but asking don`t mean getting..any way it should help..

The colt that I was looking at was a national match series 70 . Serial # is 70N68131.Does that help?

My last years blue book says...$850 in 100%, $750 in 98%...on a blue series 70, which to me is just a guideline to compare to. Gunshows ask full price, friends is another story. (got my SS Gold Cup for $450...from a friend)
