I have been carrying and shooting a Cylinder & Slide Adventurer for a couple of years. It is a chopped .45 Commander or Officers Model.

Don't have one of them, but I did have a small Detonics back in '79. Was the hardest recoiling 45 I ever owned. Hated shooting that thing.

Peter,

The Adventurer shoots very nice and the recoil is controlable. The cycle of the slide is so fast, it actually has less muzzle rise than a LW Commander.
