I have been carrying and shooting a Cylinder & Slide Adventurer for a couple of years. It is a chopped .45 Commander or Officers Model.

The specs are listed below. Anyone else have any experience with Adventurers?

Caliber .45 ACP
Weight Empty 32.7 oz Steel Model
25.7 oz Alloy Model
Weight Loaded 37.1 oz Steel Model
30.1 oz Alloy Model
Barrel Length 3.187" Bar-Sto Stainless
Overall Length (cocked) 6.812"
Overall Height 4.375"
Width 1.250"
Sight Radius 5.062"
Magazine Capacity 5 Rounds
Trigger Pull 5 lb Videki Aluminum

It is everything the Detonics was meant to be and never made it.

Try it, you'll like it.

Peter,

The Adventurer shoots very nice and the recoil is controlable. The cycle of the slide is so fast, it actually has less muzzle rise than a LW Commander.
