I had not seen anything on the site that mentioned why you chose the thistle as your makers mark Dane.

The use of a Thistle could be a pain in the azz for some characters.

Link to the Scottish Thistle's pedigree @:

A must read is The Scottish Declaration of Independence by E. Raymond Capt and their being part of the ten lost (not really) tribes of Israel ...

It is published by Artisan Sales, Hoffman Printing Co., P.0. Box 1529, Muskogee, Oklahoma 77402 if any of you are interested. It is in-expensive and covers 64 pages.

Robert The Bruce, Edward I, King James VI of Scottland, William Wallace, and Robert Burns are a few men of history in the book. Mike

I prefer a simple thistle tucked in some where on your pistol over R. D. BURNS CUSOM PISTOLS, ISSAQUAH WASHINGTON along the slide  ......don't you ?

That too, If I get that far!
