I purchased one of the first TRP about 3 years ago, I changed the hammer to a CMC, added a S&A magwell, Brown Tac ambi safety and Cocobol grips from Les Baer. I sent the sights to IWI to install trit inserts.
this gun shoots 1 hole groups and Never jammed, I wish I never sold it.
Just found a picture on a floppy so I thought I would share a nice gun.
Some lucky guy paid me $900 for it with the holster and mags  wish I found deals like that.

Nice gun. Too bad you had to sell it.

Is that the extractor sticking out slightly from the back of the slide?

I never noticed that before. cant tell from the picture, could be a shadow.

the gun was 100% reliable.

The new TRP's have the front cocking serrations right? I think the old ones looked better.

Thats what it is. I have an early TRP which was built in May of 98. The extractor protrudes from the back of the slide. I have not got around to changing it out as for too many toys. As is it has never failed to go bang or eject.

I just wish that SA had taken the time to fit it right.
