Hey All,

I've got a Stainless Colt Officer's model that has noooooo tension on the extractor at all. In addition it looks like someone went crazy with a file on the hook and really made a mess. The gun does not extract correctly and I want to replace the extractor with a quality part.

I've looked at Wilson and Brown and none of them show a stainless extractor. Am I missing something? Do I need to get a blued one and polish the blue off or something?

Thanks,

Scott

Brownells has the Action Works ss 1911 extractor pg. 80 and plain jane 1911 ss extractor on page 82 of catalog #54.

I am almost postive there are other ss extractors out there. My ss Kimber has a ss extractor; McCormick probably makes them as well or order from Kimber directly.

Good Luck!

Try a Bar-Sto stainless as well, it is spring
steel-just what Mr. Browning reccommended!
