I just picked up Dave's book, "The Tactical 1911" and it is pretty interesting. Ayoob mentions in it Lauck's "unique, accident-resistant trigger jobs". Anyone ever experience one of these?
I have not had a chance to spend time with Dave's 1911's but over the last five years I have used/tested several of his AR15s and they are very smooth and very accurate.
Dave has a very unique and valuable opinion of the "tactical" rifle and although a great many people have copied his work, his AR15s are well worth the money.
I would expect his 1911s to be of equal or greater quality.
