Foster frames and slides?

Is there such a manufacturer of frames and slides (Foster) and how do they compare to other manufacturers such as Caspian, CMC, etc.?

I believe Caspian is the manufacturer of Foster. Could be wrong, but I do believe I read that somewhere.

I am not positive either, but I thought Foster owned Caspian.
