I have a rather major problem deveolping with my limited gun. After I replaced the gripframe and trigger and had 500rds of trouble free fun, I now have a hazardous problem. I adjusted the sear a disconnector spring fingers until it stopped, and went from a 2.5# pull to a 6# pull. The original work was done by a nearby gunsmith, but I cannot get to his shop before the match this Sunday. Do any of you have an idea of what is wrong and solutions?

Take it down to Kevin McIntire in Carson City. I don’t know what his local rep is, but I swing by and see him every year when I go to the Air Races up in Stead.

Fix that puppy. A gun that doubles or worse is a very bad thing.

Well, heres an update. I took it to the match, after some more spring adjustment. It worked ok for the forst target array. On the second array I put a nice three round burst on the first target. I then handed the gun off to Jonny Lim, and he said that the sear needs to be restoned. I handed it off to him to repair. Tom, thanks for the idea, I am running one of his barrels in the gun, and am impressed with its accuracy. My normal gunsmith is Gene Shuey, also in Carson, but I can not get to Carson this next week. I gave it to Jonny because his shop is two blocks from my work.
It seems the socialistic gun laws in California are having a positive effect in Nevada. We have one of the highest concetration of gunsmiths now.
