It had been a while since I logged onto the 1911 forum, and lo and behold when I signed on it appeared some of my heroes had been booted off. Not sure how or when, and I'm sure there's been some awesome flames I missed, but it appears from one bad thing arises a good thing. Glad to be here guys, it looks like a good thing. Dane, if you're out there have I got a story for you !

If you guys don't know my history with Dane, I'll catch you up:

I had just put down my 3rd to last payment on my Kimber CST when I started up on one of our favorite forums of one of our favorite pistols, and caught Dane preaching the gospel on 9X23 Winchester. It was like I was in the 2nd row of a tent revivalist meeting, `cause baby I CAUGHT the FEVER ! I tried unsuccessfully for a few months to try and pick up one of the few production pistols that both Colt and SA had tried as trial runs, but they were gone. I started corresponding with Dane, both on emails and the forum of reknown. His knowledge not only on 9X23 but firearms overall is, well, if you know Dane you know he is up there with the best. I still had the fever, so as I'm paying off the Kimber I put money down on a Colt Stainless .38Super that someday I knew would be in Dane's hands. I flirted with him more than once, promising I'd be shipping it off soon, once I got just a little more money
