I was reading in the armorer's manual, and it says to not use the 8lb connector with the heavier (8 or 11) spring.
Just wondering if anyone knew why?

I could be wrong, but I recall reading that the combination could create a trigger that could not reliably be pulled.

I think the source was Patrick Sweeney's "Pistolsmithing" book (excellent, BTW), although I can't be sure.
