I wish...I don't own them! Just the picture is mine...table is my lovely wife's

The Swenson is a pre Series 70 Comercial Colt, the Heinie a Series 70 Colt and the BCP a Caspian slide and CMC frame parts gun for those that might be interested.

But this is neither and my screen saver

Hard for me to believe that we only have 160 hits on this thread and only one comment!

I liked this picture so much and the guns in it I changed my screen saver. That is as difficult for me as it is for most of you building a best grade gun...and took about as long too I suspect

At the moment that old Heinie slide with a Barsto in it and the Series 70 frame with a awesone trigger job has to be the favorite gun in the house. Slightly worn, not abused and a nice set of 20 year old iviories.

My kind of eye candy

How about a fulll house Jim Garthwaite from 1999?

Well what can I say when I'm sitting here drooling over the keyboard trying to figure out how many more lunches I have to brown bag so that I can afford to call you for a gun?

You sir are not a nice man posting all these drool inspiring pictures.

Christ,,That Swenson looks like it got drug though the jungles of Cambodia, and then run over by about 300 Montagnard Light Infantry!
Nice gun, but you would think the owner would have cleaned it up a little, instead of worrying where his next cigar was coming from..

Hey Dane,

Why is the BCP the only one with the holes in trigger? Maybe the customer is "not" always right.

Thanks for the wallpaper and the awsome 1911.

Regards,

Rick Tucci

Lou, I have it on good authority that the owner smoked Gauloises and Ruby Queens so he didn't need to worry about cigar resupplies.

The "mouse" gun is tooooo funny

The "customer is always right" at BCP. I'll built them almost exactly like you want them  As long as it's something I would carry Rick  Two out of three have holes triggers. Not my preference. I'm kinda with the snake eaters...I am not partial to cleaning my 1911

A Marine would actually take care of his weapons, a snake eater on the other hand is lucky to have a weapon! They don't issue them guns, they have to "borrow" them

Now to that HP question? Here at BCP we may go bigger but never smaller!! No mouse guns here

One of my favoite versions of "old slab sides".

All these beautiful guns and you put a Benchmade folder in the same thread. MadDog is gonna be very upset if he ever lurks here. Tsk Tsk, Dane.

Eric

PS, Dibs on the Swenson when I become independently wealthy. Oh, yeah, I'm a cop, nevermind.

Come on Stephen, it's OK  I carry a 505 so I won't have to snivel

Being a good Texan you need a 1911 in Super anyway.

For the interested few, the shop # 425 391 3202....what I have can be yours
