Can a high capacity .45 like an SVI with the polymer grip be converted to a traditional single stack? How much work is involved? Does it make sense?

STI catalogs a single stack grip for their widebody composite lowers. Don't know if it would fit a SVI.

I just got an STI single stack grip about two weeks ago. It works great.

They pin in two plastic inserts to hold the mag in place and use a special mag catch. Mag base pads are required.

The inserts make a great internal mag well.

The STI grip should work on an SV.
