1. Use it. The suede will "mash down" a bit
2. Put a little silicone on the gun and run the gun in and out. Repeat until a bit of silicone is in the holster (I don't know if this hurts the leather but I've done it and it works). I used one of those cheap silicone rags that shops give away and is dripping with silicone.
3. There are products out there for this purpose - I think there is one called Hide-Glyde or something like that. No personal experience but you may want to do a search here or on 1911forum.
