I make quite a few holsters for the USP Compact in 9/.40
(same gun) and .45 (slightly larger). I think it would be worth your while to get one. Ring's make a replica full size but I don't know if they make a compact. I believe their web-site is http://www.movieguns.com. Can you use a plastic replica working with kydex? Duncan Customs in NH makes all the USP variants in cast aluminum, but I don't think they have a web-site.
