I'm preparing to have one done for IDPA and would like to see the quality of the different pistolsmiths throughout the country and how you have been served by the weapon.

Hi Doc...Welcome to the Party...Ther are about a gazillion different guys with guns represented here...If you'll just check back through any of the posts in the "custom makers" threads you should find at least half-a-gazillion pictures of different 1911s...
