Hi to all. Am trading in my 2002 MK40 and buying a PM45. Took the gun out for a last bit of shooting. Went through 45 round of Speer Lawman 165grn TMJ. Prior this shooting session, I'd run 2,120 round of ammo through the gun; mostly 180 ball. On shooting the 45th round today, the recoil spring broke. Kahr recommends changing the recoil spring every 1,500 - 2,000 rounds. Since I had intended to sell the gun, I never did. Now I have to. The recoil spring failure was the worst that's happened to the gun. Prior to this, I've had virually no problems with it at all. Just one stovepipe. For 2,165 rounds, I can live with that.

People either love or hate Kahr's, there doesn't seem to be any middle ground.

I have an early stainless K9 and it's the first auto that I've ever truly trusted. I trust it enough that it's my carry gun.
