For those who have tried this barrel, what are your opinions? In particular I'm interested in the chamber. Is it too tight for reliability purposes or just right?

Also, what tools did you guys use to fit the bushing OD to your slides?

I`ve used this barrel quite a few times. As you mat know the only difference is you work on the top lugs instead of the bottom lugs to get the barrel to fit. As for the chamber I always run my Clymer reamer through it anyways because after you fit the hood you most likely will have to deepen the chamber a little to get the GO gauge to fit. I do find Kart barrels to be the most accurate barrels out there. I fit the barrel bushings on the lathe with a special holder that fits in the jaws. First I determine the bushing size using gauge pins then turn the diameter down. You can probably do the same thing with files and emery cloth but it would take much longer.
