I'm really looking forward to getting one of these Kimber Compacts from Dane. I was hoping to have it in time for the class I'm going to attend. I ordered one from Dane the day after the add went up.

Who got the other one?

I resisted a lot of bells and whistles. I don't think it needs any more.

I asked Dane to scallop, an agressive melt and hard chrome.

How did you settle on Black T?

Thanks for the info. I baby my guns so much that corrosion isn't too much of an issue. I carried an HK P7M8 for almost a month in south america and had no problem. Where did you find out about black T? Any web site?

You are going to love that finish. I had a HK89 that was refinished in Black T. Great stuff and should look nice with those grips!
