Which grip safety will most easily replace the grip safety on a Thunder Ranch Special. I want an Ed Brown but I don't no if it will fit. I don't want to go the weld and re-heat treat method either. any advice out there? I would also like to know from people with Les Baer pistols if there beaver tail grip safeties have more movement from side to side at the hump of the tail than they desire. Mine has a lot of side to side movement at the hump of the grip safety. Just curious. Thanks for any replies.

I don`t know about the fit of another grip safety on a TRS, but the play in mine does leave something to be desired.. Specially since everything eles on the gun is so tight..

Dane fit a CMC to my Baer Concept 7. The Baer safety that was on there was fit well but the work Dane did put the stock safety to shame. It also sits in my hand much better than the stock safety. I don't believe any welding or heat treating was necessary.
