Does anyone know a source for Lissner barrels. I had a customer drop one off for installation and I was impressed with the quality.

I have two Lissner 1911 barrels.
Lissner is an Australian barrel maker and I believe he may have closed up shop as his number is disconnected???
I purchased a barrel from Tex Gun Supplies
at 67 Eaton Place Darwin, NT, 0812 if you are trying to find a source geographically they are located in the Victoria area.
I cannot find the receipt for the phone number but I did have the address in my Journada.
I have heard the Lee Brown in Bakersfield uses/has used the Lissner barrels.

You might try reaching him through Schumann Barrels, I think they have had some dealings, IIRC...:wink:

Great barrels. Beyond great. I know of no where to get them. I have been trying to get in touch with him off and on for two years. No dice. Not even Ross Newell could help me. If you do hear anything, please let me know.

Wil Schuemann incorporated the "Lissner ramp," but he does not sell Lissner barrels.
