According to R.L Wilson's book, Colt, An American Legend, your National Match was made in the 1963-64 time frame. 1963 began with 10900NM and 1964 began with 12500NM. Hope this is helpful.

When you get to Denton, if you like hamburgers, try Denton Co. Independent Hamburger Company on the square. Just great.
For catfish, try the Smoke House on Ft. Worth Dr. (The BBQ ribs there ain't bad, either.)
For steak, drive east of Denton on HWY 380E about 14 miles to the Traildust.
