I was looking at an advertisment for this cool little pocketgun and it says made in partnership with Kahr. I also read an article about the .32NAA Magnum ammo and it moves at 1,453 fps, 192 ft. lbs. of energy. It penetrates 4 layers of denim and 8.3" of ballistic gelatin, expands to .55-inch mushroom with 100% weight retention. It has similar performance to a 9mm.

Does anybody have one of these? It is smaller than the PM9 and MK9 and looks very nice. I am surprised that it is made with Kahr. When looking at it you can see some resemblances in the grips and trigger. I am curious to how it shoots.

I have a 340pd, also. My barrel shroud came loose and I have to send it back. I'm pissed! The 340 kicks harder than any gun I have ever shot. It is also the loudest. I hope I never have to use it without earplugs.

Thanks Harrydog,

If Kahr manufacturers the frame and slide than IMO, that is most of the gun since Kahr doesn't make the other parts anyway. This is real interesting. The Guardian now comes in a .380 also, and I wonder if a 9mm is in the works? The ironic part of this partnership is from my research Kahr doesn't make their own frames. They design them but do not produce them.

JCM298,

How do you like your Guardian? The new Rohrbaugh looks a lot like it only 3 times the price. I like the fact that the guardian is all metal but is still a lighter than the MK9. If they build it in a 9mm, I think it could be a real contender.
