After debating between a Protector compact and a Sentintel, I decided on the Sentintel. Lead time now for the Sentintel is 8 months, so I guess it will be a Christmas gift. The Protector lightweight compact was restricted to Silvertips, that made the Sentintel my choice. Like the size and weight of the Sentintel. Will probably get a Milt Sparks VM-2 for concealed carry.

The Sentinel is a very interesting pistol to me. Will probably be my choice for an ultra compact 1911, hopefully this year. Good luck with yours!

Mine is scheduled for delivery in December. If you order yours now, you will have about an eight month lead time. You could look around in PT-Partners and others. Sometimes one can get lucky and find one.

I have bought a Wilson and a Baer from Greg over at Mombasa. Give him a call, that Sentinal will be in your hands in 2 days. That 98% gun is a great price too, considering that Wilson will refinish it for you if you ask him too.
