I was looking at different options for night sights and ran across the P-T Night Sights at http://www.ptnightsights.com/

Does anyone have any experience or comments about these tritium sights?

Good? Bad? Are they as bright as mepro or trijicons?

Thanks,

Hi Mantis;
They came as "factory stock" night sights on one of my USP .45 Compacts.
The are undoubtedly THE WORST night sights I've ever seen.
The tritium capsules, irrespective of color (the green are brightest), are dim and uneven. The capsules are retained in the sight tubes with a drop of epoxy at the front of the capsules, and these sometimes break. (Check http://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com for pix.) They're cheap for a reason. Anyone who tells you different has no experience of anything better, though they are obviously used by some folks. You can do lots better. The sights made by Trijicon and Meprolite are better choices if you like the three-horizontal-dot pattern.
My favorite by far, however, without question, is the Heinie sights, with two vertical dot arrangement (see http://www.heinie.com if interested). Best.

Thanks for the input... I'll definitely stay away from the P-T sights :smile:
