Interested in one of the new Para LDA guns. The pictures I see of them the fit of the beavertail looks like crap. Has anyone seen one in the flesh or better yet shot one? What are your opinions?
Thanks!

Gunner,

I was looking at this set up for work. The trigger reset seemd really long. Just as long or longer than a DAO. Smooooooooth, though. Light too. Kinda strange at first, but its a training issue. The more you shoot, the better it will probably feel. The finish was okay, and the fit was alright for a work gun, but youre right, the beavertail looked like crap. Kinda cheesy. the sights on the stock gun are cheesy too. Old blade style. Wish the would throw on some Novaks like everyone else. I posted something earlier about the gun and parts, and was told that the simple things were different than the 1911, like the beavertail and safety. Hope this helps.

Aloha

Oh yeah, someone said they are using it on the east coast somewhere in a department with no problems.

I had wondered about the reliability and durability of the gun, especially the trigger set up.
