I would like to convert a Para LDA 7.45 to 38 Super. I think it would be called a Para LDA 10.38 ! Is this possible? Can one use a regular 1911 slide (.38 Super) and a .38 Super barrel with a Clark/Para ramp?
OR is the configuration of the LDA trigger (trigger bar on right side of frame)
a Para Ordnance proprietary design that requires an LDA slide?

I have a 7.45 LDA frame and .45acp barrel, but alas, NO SLIDE.
I have a Fusion .38 Super slide and a .38 Super barrel with the Wilson/Novak
ramp. If anyone has a .38 Super barrel with the Clark/Para ramp, I would trade both my .45acp barrel (Clark/Para ramp) and my .38 Super barrel with Wilson/Novak ramp. Such a deal! Send PM.

First off I'll say I've never see the inside of a Para LDA so what I write won't be worth much.....a 1911 caliber change is usually easy , goin' from 45 to 38 Super usually works by usein' a 9mm slide and the correct 9mm/38 Super/9/23 parts...I would pick 9x23 over 38 Super anytime
