I thought a read they were planning this about a year ago to compete in ipsc production and IDPA but I have not seen anything lately. I like my PO 14-45 but I prefer the grip size of the SStack and I have wanted a 9mm 1911 for some time. Thanks

AFAIK you're right on. I saw a sample at a shooting event about 3 weeks ago. The fit and finish looked very good. The gun came with rosewood grips. The are also planning a commander size and a sub officer size. All of the single stack guns will be have the LDA trigger. No standard trigger on the single stack models.
