Better than that I told Scott to take it to South River IDPA and let you all shoot it before he sends it back to me.
Just don't kick it around on the floor too much I want to put the first scratches in it.
Mike. Very nice pic. of your .38s commander. I infer yours has an alloy frame. I have a .38s combat cammander which has a lightened slide. The extractor is visable and a simular cut is on the opposite side of the slide. I belive my slide was at first intended to be fitted to an alloy frame. You know it a Colt! The question is: What recoil spring do your recomend? I need to switch the original out. I intend to shoot 125 and 130gr. for carry and practice respectivly. I am not prejudiced to varialble rate springs or shock buffs. Are there commander only shock buffs. It is my first .38s. Thanks. Calthrop.
