I just had confirmation that my first order for a BCP Solid Aluminum Trigger, with a set screw, a stainless bow highly polished and finely (more lpi than a Vedecki) serrated, over size pad is on the way. They are a step up on the Vedecki's in quality, as the trigger bow is more rigid and of better quality of material. The trigger pad is actually hard anodized in clear. That is a new one for the industry. The retail will be $20. I will have them in stock in 6 weeks or less. I'll also have the same trigger in black anodized by early spring.

Both will be available the http://www.burnscustom.com shopping cart shortly.

Inbetween then and now I have a limited supply of original Vedecki 3 hole speed triggers I will be selling until they are gone.

Damn it Dane!
I just went and ordered a bunch of Videcki's
from an undisclosed source, and now you are
making something better. Tell ya what, if
you're thinking about making other things
(firing pins/stops, extractors, ejectors or
any series '80 safety parts) please let us
all know before we go out and buy stuff,
then spend hours making it right!!!! Thanks
though for bringing the best to the table!

Yes sir, short ones too. I have 4 short Vedeckis left! Not enough. Same with the solids. I thought I had bought a life times worth several months ago and I haven't sold a single one @ retail. They are just going into the guns I build. No way is my supply going to make it another year let alone my entire career building guns.

Only thing to do was have my own built.

I have a bunch of new items to become available soon. Most of them will be up on the BCP shopping cart this next week. I am working on the text and pictures over the wekend. A few new things that will rattle a cage or two

Number of things in the works. All of them an improvement in quality IMO over what is available. I see no need to become a parts salesman unless the parts I am currently using can be improved by new manufacturing. Some are even going to be a huge improvment in quality and PRICE. I don't like being gouged any more than you guys. I'll see if I can change some of that when I can. One item in particular is going to have its retail price cut by over half.

You'll see them all here on http://www.pistolsmith.com first of course

Dane..

Stupid question, but well... I guess I have no pride!

What is the advantage/disadvantage of the differnet materials used in triggers (titanium, stainless steel, carbon fiber, etc)???

Videcki Replacement

Dane,

I apologize for resorting to ancient history to find what I'm looking for. I just read your below message as I was surfing the internet gun forums looking for a short solid trigger. Coincidentally, I just sent you an e-mail regarding this same subject. Do you still have any of the short black anodized solid triggers for sale? Please let me know as I'd like to purchase a couple from you.
