Price on an old Colt LW Commander

I have a Pre 70`s .45 LW Commander made in 1951 serial# 11938-LW.I would like a ballpark figure on what it is worth.The frame has about 80% finnish still on it and the slide is around 95%.It is completely original.I just want to know what it is worth because I was going to get it customize if it isn`t worth that much.Thanks in advance.

I bought one as described a little while ago and paid $625 I believe. So I say cut it up!

I really like pre series 70 customs.
