How do you get that great grey colour on many of your pistols? I think it's one of the most astectically (sp) pleasing thing I have seen on a 1911. I read somewhere that the grey finish on one of Ruger's revolvers was not recieved very well, which I find stange. Is it just me?

The gray color is the metal prep on the stainless and hard chrome. The photos and lighting don't hurt :grin:
