I am looking for some suggestions for 300 gr. cast bullet loads for a 20's vintage New Service. I am not trying to "magnumize" the gun, I would just like to find a load for the 300 gr. that would approximate factory pressures for the 250 gr. Also, I was wondering if any of the casters out there might be able to sell me a small lot (like 100 or so) 250-255 gr. rounded, with the wide flat point, 45's sized to .454 to try. I can only find .452 around here, and the throat slugs out 454-455. I am hoping this will help the old war-horse come up to what it capable of. Thanks for the help.E.D.
