I think RRA uses a 9mm size firing pin just like Les Baer. Something to do with reducing or eliminating primmer back flow.Can any one verify this,or add to it???

My RRA Basic Limited Match has the smaller firing pin. I'm not sure I understand why.

It's to keep primmer flow to a minimum. 67 days and a wake up for me. :grin: Sam

Maybe I'm missing something; but, isn't "primer flow" caused by excess pressure within the case?

That is what I thought it was also,causing primer deformation or flat primers.Just trying to find out why RRA uses a smaller firing pin.I suppose I could always call the pistolsmith at RRA and ask them.
