Dick Heinie, Chuck Rodgers, CT "Tim" Brian and Peter Zahn are at least lurking here. Between them they can answer most any question asked and some that I don't even know the questions for! Feel free to ask them questions and/or invite your favorite smith here. All are welcome if they post under their own name.

I won't be active for at least 10 days while I am working out of town.

But when I get get back, I will as always, be willing to share what little I can.

OK gunsmiths, the door is wide open to everyone in the biz. Seriously, this is a forum where smiths are encouraged to speak their minds. Come on now, don't be shy -- join in the conversation! Any and all civil discussion is welcome.

Thanks, Dane
My name's Gunnar Christensen, and I'm a fulltime pistolsmith from BC, Canada. Company name Armco Machine and Plating. Mostly IPSC-related stuff, but every once in a while a "special project" strikes my fancy. I like your website and have to say I agree with you views on the 9x23. As an IPSC round it is NOT the greatest thing since sliced bread, but as a carry gun load, all of a sudden it makes a lot of sense!

Looks like this will be a good forum.

Best wishes,
Gunnar

Hi Gunnar !!!

Don't tell me there are actually some good gunsmiths left in Canada !!??!!

I will get in touch with you via email later, concerning some work I'm thinking about having done.

I cannot believe the crap that I need to go thru, in order to get a gun over the border and back again. I refuse to do this. It's really cool to find someone in Canada.

Talk to you soon.
Shane.
