So, do you guys recommend changing out the 9mm "titanium" firing pin?

I changed mine, replacing the titanium pin with an Ed Brown steel pin.

I used Brownell's part number 087-205-826, page 79, catalog 53.

Conversion is straight drop-in and fits perfectly. I used the same f/p spring that came with the gun. Pencil test sends the pencil out with gusto. Reliability perfect, with nice deep perfectly-rounded indentation in primers.

I have a couple Titanium pins in a few of my 1911's. Dont even remember which ones have them. No problems.

In an AR however, very bad idea. Bolt action, good idea.
