What exactly is it? I'm sure it's a 1911 type, but those letters and #s don't mean anything to me...Have you checked the web-site for this information? Good luck...SA can be contacted through the web-site or phone. They have excellent customer service as well...:wink:

I would guess that it's ramped. I think the less than 5" get ramps and anything but a 45 gets a ramp in the 5". They run a little higher than a 45. The manager of the custom shop, Dave Williams, is often very helpful. Did you mail Dave?
Sometimes, it's easier to get a phone call answred than an e-mail.

We have one of the Springfield 40s in stock and it is a ramped barrel. I also looked at the KimBer 40s and that gun is also ramped.
