Square deal B for reloading 9x23 etc?

I've got an opportunity to make a trade for a Dillon square deal B(with some accessories) and was wondering if this would be a good set up for a beginner reloader and if it would be able to do 9x23(the website doesn't list dies for it in this calibre).

Thanks,

You only need the sizer die, 9mm seater and crimp dies are the same.It may have to be custom made. Call Dillon to see if its available. If not EGW could probably make one.
I have used all the dies made for 9x23. I use and reccomend a carbide 9mm Para. die. Even Dillion makes one  The Square Deal is the second best machine Dillion makes IMO. I have at least one of each machine...the 1050 and Square Deal are exceptional machines.

Stick to the 9mm die and you'll be happy....trust me on this one
Dane's got the scoop on the 9x23, but I'll chime in and say that the SDB is a great press. In my experience, Dillon makes great reloading equipment and they stand behind their work.

Thanks Dane, I'll be getting one as soon as I get the press(which should be tomorrow) then I can try out some of the recipes from your site.
Pete, I've heard nothing but good about Dillon and it sounds as if I'll be getting a good machine. And Dane is Da Man for 9x23 as far as I'm concerned.

Regards,
To add to the rest of the posts, I would have to agree 100% on Dillon Presses. The best thing is even though you are not the original owner of the press, Dillon still gives you the lifetime Warranty on the press. I wouldn't be surprised that if you traded for the press and sent it into Dillon saying you just bought the press and want to make sure its in good safe working order, they would refurbish the press probably at no charge. They stand behind their equipment 100%.no charge. They stand behind their equipment 100%.
Doesn't RCBS make a set of 9x23 dies? I seem to remember reading that somewhere, maybe on Dane's website?
That's great news, using regular 9x19 carbide die set for the 9x23. Looks like a conversion is in the future! Mike
